The aim of the workshop is to narrate and document, through the language of photography, the present-day dynamical transformation of Rome’s urban texture. Workshop targets people interested in urban photography, and is divided into a series of theoretical classes, practical photography stages, and a final phase aimed at creating a personal portfolio.
Each participant (individually or in small working groups) will identify, with the help of the teacher, a research theme / context. Discussion, editing, and image production will follow. Shots will be reviewed, and corrections suggested. A final exhibition, and a book to be edited by the International Society of Biourbanistica, will collect most valuable works.
When: October 2011, Rome (Italy).
